Jazzy's Rabbitry Sales Policy You must agree to all of our policies when/before adopting one of our bunnies.
Reservation:
Our bunnies are available to be Reserved at 2-4 Weeks of age. (We have also started a wait list so a rabbit can be reserved before the set time frame if your on our wait list)
When Reserving a rabbit you must pay a $20 non-refundable reservation fee that goes to the total cost of the bunny. If you do not pay the fee the bunny will not be Reserved for you
The Reservation fee is Non-Refundable meaning that if you decide you do not want to adopt the bunny you will not get your $20 back
The $20 reservation fee goes towards the main fee of the rabbit
The way you will be paying the Reservation fee is by either Venmo or cash. We encourage to pay by Venmo but we understand that some people don't use it
After we have responded to you submitting a reservation form you have 48 hours to respond back with the $20 reservation payment. If the payment is not received then the rabbit(s) will not be reserved for you
Adoption:
When adopting a rabbit that is 8+ Weeks you do not need to pay a Reservation fee.
Rabbits that are 8+ weeks will be available for adoption which means they are ready to go to their new home now. If it says available for Reservation the bunny will be available to be picked up once it is 8 weeks of age
Your new rabbit will come with a bag of transition Hay and Pellets.
Gender Verification
I make sure to double check a bunnies gender before they go to their new home!
I will confirm genders at 2-4 weeks of age no younger. Bunnies are available to be previewed at 1 day - 1 week of age but reservation starts at 2-4 Weeks of age
If you get your bunny and find out it is not the gender you thought you would get we can't do anything about it. We make sure that we think the rabbits gender is 100 % correct before leaving our Rabbitry
During pickup you may check the bunny to make sure its to correct gender you want
Housing, Food, Care:
You must have the rabbits living space ready before you pick up your bunny! You can't keep your bunny in a small box or carrier for more than a hour, so please make sure you have everything set up.
Please make sure you buy all the food your new bunny needs at least a day before pickup (If not the transition food we give you is going to be very helpful)
Pickup:
After the rabbit has turned 8 weeks you have 7 Days to contact us on what date and time you want to pick up the rabbit this is also required for bunnies 8+ weeks.
Rabbits are available to be picked up at 8 weeks or older no earlier. This ensures the rabbit is old enough to get used to their new home properly
We only do local pickup when adopting a rabbit, we don't have shipping available at the time.
It is your job as the buyer to check over the bunny upon adoption, I don't want you buying a bunny you don't want!
We make sure our bunnies are healthy and clean upon adoption.
We do not do drop off. Drop off is only available on certain circumstance's
Your new rabbit will come with a bag of transition Hay and Pellets. Pedigree is available for Holland Lops at a extra price, Netherland Dwarfs come with their pedigree at no extra cost
If you can no longer take care of the bunny we can not take them back. If it is because your bunny is starting to nip/lunge it is because rabbits mature at 4-5 months of age. At this time of their life they are at their hormonal stage so it is normal for them to act feisty and even nip and lunge. To avoid this or to fix this you can spay or neuter your rabbit. Usually females nip and lunge not usually males, but bucks will spray and sometimes even mount. If it is because of an injury we cant take it back, at times we only have the profit for our bunnies and another bunny might cause us to not have enough profit for food, toys, and housing for our bunnies.
Breeding Rights:
For Holland Lops pedigrees are an extra $10 fee and for Netherland Dwarfs it is free
On the reservation/adoption form it will give you the option to select if the rabbit will be used for breeding
Guarantee:
I guarantee that your bunny will come to you healthy and happy to the best of our knowledge. Before your new bunny goes home we will do a health check (we will make sure the bunny does not look sick or hurt, the bunnies nails are trimmed, the bunny has the proper teeth size, and has no diseases. Once you have picked up the bunny we are no longer responsible on how the bunnies health turn's out
Our junior bunnies are not aggressive at the time you pick them up but when they reach 4-6 months old they start to get hormonal so I would recommend spaying/neutering your bunny. Spaying/Neutering your bunny makes it easier to litter train them and makes them a lot nicer
If you are no longer able to care for your bunny we sadly can't take it back, this is due to the fact we have minimal cage space. Please don’t take your bunny to the shelter, try to find a community adoption program to surrender your rabbit to, usually they don’t charge a fee to surrender a bunny to them.
The recommended age for spaying/neutering bunnies is 6 months to a year
Price:
Our bunnies are priced for their color, breed, and type, though we try to keep each litter the same price so it is fair
